Surrey Steam Craft & Country Show

Despite dismal weather in 2006 and 2007, Oakleigh Fairs, the organisers of the Epsom Steam, Craft & Country Show are determined that this year the sun will shine on them and have they have added even more entertainment and activities to this year’s show.

'This is a fantastic venue, with excellent drainage; so whilst other shows had to cancel in previous years due to the horrendous weather, we managed to soldier on. And this year, we will yet again be providing the public with three fun-packed family days out.' Says Charlie Owen, MD of Oakleigh Fairs.

As well as full size and scale steam engines, vintage cars and commercial vehicles, there will be something for everyone – from the astonishing Jive Pony acrobatic show, through to working dogs, falconry and birds of prey displays, and the Swords of Chivalry medieval re-enactment group who will demonstrate how life was lived in their living history village as well as displaying their fighting skills in the arena.

Children’s entertainment will include a magic show as well as donkey rides. There will also be inflatables and a childrens’ fairground (charge applies).

Rural demonstrations, including hurdle making, besom brooms, as well as spinning and braiding will whet your interest in how life was lived in past times.

Then, why not sample, browse and buy unique products in our Arts, Crafts & Gifts marquees, as well as the Lifestyle and Food Hall. The event is fully catered and there is a licensed bar.

Trade stands are available and we welcome interest from Associations and Special Interest Groups who wish to participate.
